Ms. Castaneira, is the TK Teacher at St. Francis Xavier. She holds a BA in Early Childhood and Adolescent Development and a minor in Art. With six years of experience in the child development field, she has worked with infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Ms. Castaneira’s expertise lies in sensory play and art, and she is passionate about establishing strong relationships with her students and families. She focuses on creating a classroom environment where children feel encouraged, loved, and safe. In TK, Ms. Castaneira focuses on the children’s developmental domains. She also focuses on the children’s behaviors, believing that self-regulation and social-emotional skills are the foundation of a child’s academic development.
