Stefanie Avendano is the 4th grade teacher, Student Council Co-moderator, and has served as the Academic Decathlon coach at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. She has over 15 years of teaching experience, working with students from Preschool through 4th grade. Mrs. Avendano is passionate about creating an interactive learning environment where all students are encouraged to participate, grow, and thrive. This year, Mrs. Avendano has been invited to participate in the Thinker Tank Program through the Archdiocese. This STEM-based program provides students with opportunities to learn through hands-on activities that promote creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking. Mrs. Avendano received her B.A. in Early Childhood Development from California State University, Northridge and her M.A. in Early Childhood Development and Education from Grand Canyon University. She also holds a Preschool Director’s Permit, reflecting her commitment to early childhood education and leadership in school settings. |
