Coach Ana Coronado is a dedicated Physical Education teacher with over 20 years of experience inspiring students to lead active, healthy lives. Throughout a distinguished 25+ year coaching career, Coach Ana has worked with a wide range of sports programs, mentoring student-athletes and building competitive teams rooted in discipline, teamwork, and character.
A former standout basketball player in the Burbank area, Coach Ana developed a deep passion for the game at an early age. That passion carried forward into a highly successful coaching career, highlighted by leading a girls high school basketball team to a state championship title. Under Coach Ana's leadership, the program became known, not only for its competitive excellence, but also for its strong culture of accountability, resilience, and sportsmanship.
In addition to basketball, Coach Ana has coached multiple sports over the years, fostering athletic development and life skills in countless student-athletes. Whether in the classroom or on the field, Coach Ana is committed to empowering students to reach their full potential both academically and athletically.
Outside of school and sports, Coach Ana cherishes time with her family. Her family members are proud graduates of SFX, and together they enjoy camping adventures and spending quality time outdoors. She is also a proud parent of two children — one currently attending SFX and the other attending Providence High School — continuing her family’s strong connection to the local educational community.
