Alyssa Gutierrez is the 3rd Grade Teacher at St. Francis Xavier Catholic School. She brings several years of teaching experience across a wide range of grade levels, from elementary through high school. Ms. Gutierrez is passionate about creating a classroom environment where all students feel supported, challenged, and valued. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Literacy, Learning, and Leadership with an emphasis in Special Education, as well as a Master of Arts in Teaching and Learning. She also holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Ms. Gutierrez is especially grateful to be teaching in a Catholic school community, having received a Catholic education herself from kindergarten through 12th grade. She values the strong traditions, faith, and sense of purpose that Catholic education provides and strives to help her students grow both academically and spiritually. In her classroom, Ms. Gutierrez focuses on building strong foundations in reading, writing, and mathematics while encouraging curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. She believes in creating meaningful learning experiences that help students develop confidence, responsibility, and a lifelong love of learning. |
